Below are some trip reports and guides that you might find valuable for trip planning at different water levels.  Please keep in mind that the Selway can be a very tricky river and conditions can change quickly.  These reports are based on the observations of other individuals  and your comfort with particular rapids on the river at different levels might be quite different, please keep that in mind as you plan your trip.

RiverMaps Map BookYou can purchase a RiverMaps Map Book here.  In addition the USFS normally provides one RiverMap booklet to the successful permit holder.  Additional maps books may be purchased at the West Fork Ranger station when it is open.
